In the second quarter of 2020, Northeast Special Steel Co., Ltd. will try its
best to speed up the production rhythm, increase the production scale of each
line, especially vigorously develop the contract of key varieties, promote the
product structure adjustment, effectively reverse the influence of various
internal and external adverse factors, and significantly improve the
profitability of the products of each production line. In particular, the mold
steel production line achieved the best profit level since it was put into
operation in May; the small profile, steel wire and precision production line
all achieved positive profit; the large-scale steel, forged steel and double
high-speed line all achieved substantial loss reduction. The company's overall
production and operation showed a strong rebound trend.
Significant progress has been made in product structure adjustment: the sales volume of key varieties in May reached the best level since 2019, which also increased the gross profit of key varieties by 16.32 million yuan year on year in the second quarter.
The control effect of capital occupation is obvious: by the end of June, the capital occupation, especially the capital occupation of finished products, has been greatly reduced compared with the end of March.
The hot metal cost has been effectively controlled: at the end of June, the hot metal cost was reduced by 114 yuan / ton compared with that at the end of March, reaching the best level since August 2018.
The overall step cost in the second quarter was 201 yuan / ton lower than that in the first quarter.
The production efficiency of die steel, special metallurgy and gear blank production lines has been greatly improved, and the production capacity has been further released: the production of die steel production line in May reached the best level since it was put into operation, and the step cost in June reached the best level since it was put into operation; in June, the storage of electroslag steel in the special metallurgy production line and the storage of gear blank production line both reached the best level since production.
Converter gas recovery project broke through the bottleneck and increased by 90% compared with the average level at the end of June.
