On February 3, the No.3 blast furnace of Baowu Chongqing Iron and Steel Co.,
Ltd. was successfully resumed production and ignited, marking the full
completion of the upgrading and reconstruction project of the blast furnace
system of Chongqing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., opening a new chapter of Chongqing
Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.'s "three large and one small" four blast furnaces' full
load production at the same time and striding forward to a scale of over 10
million tons.
At the end of 2017, Chongqing Iron and steel completed the reform of mixed ownership by means of marketization and legalization. After three years of reform and development, the enterprise has achieved great leap forward development, various technical and economic indicators have been continuously improved, and the output of iron, steel and materials has repeatedly reached new highs.
It took Chongqing Iron and steel more than nine months to complete the upgrading of four blast furnaces, which is rare in the industry. After the transformation, each blast furnace quickly reached the output and efficiency, creating a new record for iron and steel enterprises.
In 2020, Chongqing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. will integrate into Baowu family and start a new development journey. At the beginning of 2020, Chongqing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. formulated the production and operation policy of "increasing scale, adjusting structure and reducing cost", put forward the goal of building an iron and steel enterprise with more than 10 million tons, and implemented the project construction of improving quality and efficiency in the whole production line. On March 30, the No.1 blast furnace took the lead in upgrading and transformation, which lasted 48 days and was successfully put into operation on May 18. On May 28, the No.4 blast furnace began to be upgraded, which lasted 122 days and was successfully put into operation on September 27. The No.2 blast furnace was shut down on September 29 for upgrading, and put into operation smoothly on November 30, which lasted for 62 days.
After the upgrading of No.1, No.2 and No.4 blast furnaces in Chongqing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., the production capacity and efficiency can be achieved in a short time. Among them, No.1 BF and No.2 BF successively set a new record of 2500 m3 BF in China, and the average utilization coefficient of BF has also been significantly improved. In January 2021, the average utilization coefficient of No.1 blast furnace is 3.11 T / m3 · D, and the average daily output exceeds 7750 T; the average utilization coefficient of No.4 blast furnace is 3.24 T / m3 · D, and the average daily output is 5670 T; the average utilization coefficient of No.2 blast furnace is 3.08 t / m3 · D, and the average daily output is 7700 t. Among them, the utilization coefficient of No.1 BF and No.2 BF rank in the forefront of the same type of BF in China. At the same time, the main economic and technical indexes such as fuel ratio, dry coke ratio and coal ratio of blast furnace constantly set new historical records.
The upgrading of No.3 blast furnace is an important project for Chongqing Iron and steel to implement a new round of development planning and "three-step" development strategy, build an iron and steel enterprise of over 10 million tons, and become a leader of iron and steel industry in Southwest China. The No.3 blast furnace was shut down on December 6, 2020 for upgrading. It mainly completed the hearth treatment, hot blast stove and hot blast pipe treatment, coal injection capacity improvement, equipment capacity improvement in front of the furnace, water slag system transformation and other key projects, which lasted a total of 58 days. After the upgrading, the blast furnace will have a production capacity of more than 7000 tons of hot metal per day, which provides a strong guarantee for the company to enhance the production scale and realize the scale leading.
